Thank you! It's a variety of spring steel, all of my swords are used for practice so I need them to be flexible enough to be safe. Most of the time I use stock removal to shape the blade, so I can reduce the costs. In this period sadly there's no market for high end swords.
Your comment gives me the impression that you think stock removal is inferior to traditional forging, and that this sword isn't "high end" because it isn't forged. Nonsense! Whether you forged the blade or shaped it out of a blank, that is a nicely executed piece of functional art.
