Light Rapier 45 (1) by Danelli-Armouries Light Rapier 45 (1) by Danelli-Armouries
This is a light 45" blade rapier (920 grams), very similar to the previously made 42".
I tried to compromise as little as possible the overall design and proportions to reduce weight, hope the final result is good looking.
Here the specs:
Weight: 920 grams
Length: 129 cm - 51"
Width: 27 cm - 10"12
Blade length: 115 cm - 45"
Blade width: 2 cm - 34"
PoB from quillons: 11 cm - 4"14

It's an amazing rapier, and the most impressive detail is the weight, I never thought there could be such a light one, the style is pretty simple and if Im not wrong it looks a little like the hibon hilt, I loved it.

Well the main focus has been the weight here, everything else is just ancillary ;)

And to a rapier it gives a great difference, because since it's blade isn't that "maleable" like the saber, a lower weight means faster movements with higher control upon the blade, since there's probably no risc of the blade bending in our own direction and hurting us with a too quick or jolt movement, really one I would try to have and would love to use in a spar.

Yes, true, but for a lot of techniques a little bit of weight on the blade is actually good for me. All the actions on the opponents blade get easier if one is able to move well a slightly heavier rapier. But then, is up to different fencers.
